For schools, universities and employers

Language schools and teachers
We keep schools that prepare candidates for IELTS on our list and map of preparation centres. If you would like to be on the list, get in touch using the form at the bottom of the page: tell us where you work and whether you already prepare candidates.
The British Council offers materials for teachers: free lesson plans, webinars and advice on assessment. The place to start is the Teach IELTS page.
Universities and employers that receive results
You do not have to take a candidate’s word for it. The IELTS partners offer organisations free verification of results and delivery of results electronically. How an organisation signs up is described on the page about verifying IELTS results.
Which score to ask for is your decision. The IELTS partners publish descriptions of the bands and a comparison with the CEFR, which we have summarised on the Band scores page.
Booking a group of candidates
Each candidate books in their own name and with their own document. If your school, university or company is sending several candidates, get in touch before booking and we will tell you which test dates can take a group.
