IELTS One Skill Retake

- Where
- Zagreb, Split
- Fee
- shown by the British Council at booking
- Next date
- 17 October 2026, Zagreb
The rules
- You can retake one of the four parts, and only once per test taken.
- The retake takes place within 60 days of your test date.
- The condition is that you took the full test on computer, at a test centre. This option does not exist for IELTS Online.
- The format and length of the part you retake are the same as in the full test.
What you get
After the retake you receive a new Test Report Form, showing the results of your original test and the result of the part you retook. The IELTS partners state that the new form arrives in three to five days. Both forms are valid for two years from the date of the original test, so you choose which one to send.
Who accepts it

Questions and answers
Can I retake two parts?
No. One Skill Retake covers one part and can be used once per test. If you need a better score in two or more parts, you book the whole test again.
What if my retake result is worse?
You have two Test Report Forms, the original and the new one, and you choose which to send to the organisation.
